Yes standard 17" alloys are +10
I took them off and am running 285/75x16 on 16"X 8" -13mm offset and that is a good combination but not as big or wide as 35s.

I have seen 315 BFG ATs (about 35") on a patrol with the standard 17" x 8 " alloys. no mud flaps at front and 3" lift. Didn't see if there were any rubbing issues from offset though.

What width rim do you wish to run? because that is what is important about offset.

If your buying 17inch alloys they don't come in negative offsets, steel 17s do come in neg offsets.

Just use the stock rims I have seen few GUs with stock alloys running 35s and 37s so they must do the job.
