Have a GQ with a 3inch lift, and run 35's.. handles well and is very practical. You can get a 2inch lift to flex more than a **** setup 8inch lift.

Any lift can flex well, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8inch, it just depends on how you set it up.

 

I was thinking of a Superior Engineering 4 or 6 inch superflex lift, of course I would be wanting long travel shocks for the most flex. Truckster, does your have a 2 inch body lift as well?

I've had a GQ with 2, 3, 7 then 4 inch lifts with 40mm body...

Out of the lot, the 4inch flexed the best by miles, road so much better on road too than the 7 or 3 (the 2inch was pretty rooted when I got the truck, so don really use that as example)...

Is it going to be just a weekender, or daily driver?? or?

It maybe cheaper in the long run, to keep it lower, with these new laws coming, who knows how hard they are going to go at it when they come out. They may just ignore it, or they may go every single 4b that drives past...

3inch 37's no body

 

I've been offered some 37 inch simexs, so i might just go a 4 inch lift with 2 inch body. The simexs would be for the weekend of course. I think the new laws will be too hard to police. What 4wd is going to stop if the RTA try to pull you over. There are way too many 4wd's for them to cope. They can't even police the truck properly.

37 simex?? didnt know they made them. They make 35/36's...

Honestly, scrap the body lift idea.. they are a poormans fix. If you need, go a bit of a guard trim...

It will be like Qld, they wont pull you over.
They drive around takin pics of trucks, gettin ya rego, and a photo showing the mods while they drive past you, or at lights etc... and send you a letter to come in for an inspection (they were doing that in Sydney too), if you dont turn up, they cancel your rego..
they will **** your day one way or the other.
