I'm always keen to get out, but chrissy isn't a good time, plus I'm struggling a little with lingering covid, fatigue & headaches.....
And I just got 8 stitches in my thumb.....
But I finish work for the year on Tuesday and then I'm up for a day trip anytime.

But beware....I don't hold back.....😁

So when are any of you available. I do shift work and Tuesday 3/01/23 is my next available date to be able to hit the tracks. I would go between xmas and new year but my partner doesn't want any part of 4wdriving.
I'm off camping from 29th to 6th. My missus isn't interested either. 4wding is a guy thing...apparently.

Saturday 21st?
I'll check, I promised my son a day fishing this weekend, & I keep my promises.
He should be OK to go Sunday.

Yep. Saturday is good.
My son is happy to go fishing on Sunday.
As long as we don't get too much more rain.
I've been able to change my work. So Saturday will be good for a run now.

The usual meeting place is the glasshouse Mountains lookout. The tracks are just a few minutes away. Big fish, Pumicestone Rd will be a 10+ or so minutes drive.
Another option is twin view rd.
Probably closer to some more serious stuff.
Or, if you watched old 4wd action DVD's,
The famous Watson's entry, is a cracker of a starting point.

G'day @RoBoCoP
I'd go with you if I wasn't in Victoria for Christmas.

My young fellow and I go out into Glasshouse with @y b normal . He's always keen to get out amongst it and knows his way round too.

Good luck
Trev & Ethan could come out as well.
Won't you Trev.
Yes....you will.
You too Ethan....
With or without a turbo.....:giggle:

I'm up for that.
A while back, the first Saturday of the month was glassy day with a crew I had.
I'm keen to set that up again.
.......when I replace my hub...:(

That sounds good. You'll have to keep us in the loop as to when your long weekend is.
Trevor & Ethan, are you keen?? I am.
I just don't want it turning into a 20 cars & 50 people gathering.
More than 5 cars, in my opinion, gets too messy at an obstacle.
If we intend to do this, I suggest we p.m. the details.

That is all good, except that more than 5 vehicles organised together in glasshouse requires a group permit by wpws laws.
These permits are only granted to registered 4wd clubs.
I know this because I was a member of a club that went to glassy often.

You can limit to 5, first in best dressed, if someone drops out next in line gets to go.
True, turns messy when someone pulls out the morning of the trip.
No trying to be negative, but I've tried to organise many a glassy trip with people that don't really care about logistics.
One bloke even posted on Facebook the morning of the trip, that he couldn't make it, rather than just txt me....p.i.t.a.... cos I'm not on Facebook.
