5th Gear Failure

So yeh i've done all the reading its failed nothing i can do about it cept fix it

Any one got a list of part numbers i will need to fix it?

This is from the invoice when they (Nissan dealer) did mine 6 years ago....

Part # .................... Desc. ................. List price ...

32113-VB000 ... Seal-Oil, Front Cover .... $5.88 ....

32136-01J00 ... Seal-Oil, Overdrive G .... $12.56 ....

32240-VB125 ... Shaft & Gearset ........ $476.27 ....

(I paid a fair bit less (like about 40% less) than list, but that's another story

)

With 290k on it you'd probably want to look at bearings etc on top of the above, while you have it apart....

In case you hadn't already thought of it, now would be a good time to do the rear crank seal while it's apart (can prob'ly dig up the part# for this too if ya want).............
