Hi gents.
Does anyone know why the dude from Mountain Trail RV, who was raving about how fantastic his supercharged 62 was, is now driving a 300 series?
What were his reasons for swapping?
Thanks.

Mine and Nigel's responses are not mutually exclusive ;).
True, didn't realise people were so desperate for money nowadays...

In response to the original question, dkril is correct, companies will pay a lot of money for influencers to promote products.
To be fair, the only reasons I can see to choose a 300 over a Y62 is
a) turbo diesel, although with the VK in the 62 is a solid alternative to the traditional diesel that Australia is so accustomed too now,
b) solid rear axle, I think this is the main one that would drag me over, and probably the only thing I think Nissan did wrong with the 62. In saying that I haven't been in an IRS 4wd so I don't know if the improved road handling offsets the disadvantages to independent suspension for 4wding.
Other than those I'd love a series 1 Y62, the older-style looks get me over the newer facelifted models.
