Hey guys and girls,

Having a bit of a problem with my gq's front brakes staying on. Sometimes i can smell that brake pad smell and there is dust all over the front rims. Also i can hear the pad squeelers or the pads touching the discs wen my foot isn't on the brake and when i press the break the noise goes away.

I've done a search and couldnt find anything.

Any ideas what the problem is?

seized calipers, sliders, pull caliper off mounting bracket and make sure the 2 sliders are free and well greased with rubber grease

Sounds like you need to pull them apart, put a new rubber kit through them, mine were doing that! greased the sliders etc. and came back real quick! I done new rotors,pads and caliper kits. All good now!
