Air conditioning repairer has checked the system on my 2002 4.2 deisel patrol. Every now now and then it stops cooling, when I take to the auto electricians or aircon specialist every thing is working fine, don't ys hate that. Any idease please

Possibly intermittent compressor clutch cutting in and out, do you notice slight rev change when cooling ceases?

Could be freezing up the pipes. Anything common when it stops, eg weather, highway, around town, etc

does it stop cooling when your water temp gets to a certain point?

I know my tb42e does that. Soon as the car gets too hot it cuts the a/c and turns it back on when the temp drops
