Hi guys
please have a look at those pic's and tell me what u think. I know one can see much, but apparently the repair cost 400 bucks. thats how i got it back from the mechanics. For me it seem that something is missing, I can't find the brushes. ( does it have one?) I wonder what can be wrong with it. I mean for 400 i can almost get a new one. The anchor/rotor?
help appreciated.

The rectifier plate is missing from those photos, it will have the brushes in it.

It's a bit hard to tell by the photo put it also looks like the rear bearing may have spun in the housing

Ok
here are the missing bits. The brushes have different lengths. It looks they need chance. I wonder how expensive they are. The sparky said they need 400 bucks to repair it.....:confused:

I got a friend in Arrowtown who is auto sparkie, does cash jobs I can let him know if you interested.

u can get replacement bushes, or heat up the solder and let the bushes come out bit more and resolder, might get bit more life out of it (too short to make contact atm)
or someone did say that el falcon alt will fit
