hoping to head out when the weather clears a bit. december 18/19 ?? thinking it would be a good chance to meet some forum guys and girls without the cage around them.

i haven't been exploring yet but i'm sure someone on here knows of some good half day rides with some good scenery.

Road not dirt. and twisty stuff. not slabbing up the hiway.

Currently on the gold coast, is a bit more than half a day's ride to townsville.

even if i travel at XXX on the blackbird it's still a good days ride to get there.

Like the Isle of Man type riding? Was watching a race there on tv last night. Those guys are freakin fast on a road circuit. No safety barriers on that track.
