Hello,

Anyone know what this wire (red taped) is called? It's overheating when the car is on and looking to get a replacement.
All wreckers I've been too have their GQs stripped bare

idk but if you can find out what pin its using you can make your own wire, probably wiringspecialty should have it if its generic nissan connector i think i saw it on my s13,
or you could fix it, if its overheating its not connected properly which is why it has a red tape
cut the connection and use open barrel splice crimp and heatshrink this would fix it

It's called the wire that indicates a problem, find the cause of the current draw,

Yeah - Fusible link.
Replace it with a 40amp circuit breaker and check what current you're pulling with your accessories.
