I'm running a set of EFS coils, coupled with Elite shocks and the extreme steering damper, with air bag inserts in the rear, in a 07 GU wagon. Rides a little bit stiffer but feels alot better and more stable in corners, only had them in about 8 months but I like them, I'd recommed them todate..

As a suspention specialist they are my choice of all systems & I have fitted hundreds of them over the years now work P/T at a place that only fit OME they are OK. but for me EFS every time also like Dobins springs.

thumbs up. EFS elite kit havs been on my patrol since new 105,000km and counting. no dramas, have always been very happy with the ride and handeling. Front end flex is really good too.

only thing was that it suffered a bit towing, just sat a bit low in the rear but that is more to the fact that the idiots that installed them ( yes idiots for many reasons) installed standard load rating in the rear when I requested Heavy duty, but recently installed 2 Dobinson 200kg constant load springs and now tows really well. But this is not a fauly with the suspension rather product not suited to aplication.

Final words: 3 year 100000km waranty thats how good they are I dont think any one else matches that.

my elite front shocks lasted only 11 months, failed on recent Hay River trip. They did not even blink at replacing them, took the leaking ones in, gave me new ones. Very happy with the service from Chris at Cross Country 4x4.

I have run EFS extremes in a 5" kit with EFS springs for the last 3 or so years and love every second of them.. Have made them work hard and every time I head out for a crawl and hear them working I'm happy I was put onto them..

Have 5" EFS coils and Cruiser 100 series EFS Elite shocks on my shorty and also EFS Extreme Damper. I like the ride, wherever I go. Will put them again with no hesitation. Might try Dobinsons coils for a comparison.

BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!! had mine on 378 days, done 10000kms and the rear two are fcuked, leaking badly, I carry no heavy loads and have only done a few of those kays off road, they will replace them, but it's more the hassle than anything.

i just installed elite shocks in my shorty. Transformed the car. Neer felt a fourby handle whoops and offroad bumps like it. Handle really well onroad also.

im running 3inch efs elite shocks with 3inch ironman HD springs.

big thumbs UP!

id give em a thumbs up but again i had the wrong setup matched to my vehicle and they sagged very bad. i found the springs to soft and shocks to stiff. but they never failed and flexed nicely.
correctly matched id give them a big thumbs up.

Leaking shocks are usually a sign of overheated shocks. Did you drop the tyre pressures much on the corrugations?

GoGoGU, Are you running a complete kit or just shocks?

Yer dobinson coils seem to be good as well cheap too $192 a set and if you dont like the way they ride they will hapily exchange them for somthing you like.

Also A caster kit made a world of diffeence to my handeling, dont get a lift without caster correction.

Ive run EFS on my last 2 forbys. Love them.
The current ones in my Patrol have been flogged mercilessly for the last 80000km with no problems.
My next set will be EFS as well.
