National Code Of Practice (NCOP) has been adopted by most states and partially or in a amended version by some states. The rules cover all modifications made to vehicles and detail when a modification requires engineering, when it doesn’t and when you just cannot engineer it (lifts above 150mm (~6inch).

Folks I suggest those concerned with their NSW registered vehicles should check out the latest Vehicle standards information sheet number 6 Light vehicle modifications the link is available on this sticky take note of modifications to engines, wheels / tyres brakes suspension
pretty much anything you may have done or may want to do is covered here in the changes
Also those coming into NSW will have to show that they comply with their own state requirements for modified vehicles if they get pulled up & defected for anything
It was always coming I was hoping it wasn't going to get here this quickly
Have a good read to see how you stand with what you have done
It will also allow the insurance companies to back away from a claim if your car needs certification and it isn't If they ever find out
Trying not to be a scaremonger but we all need to know where we stand ignorance is not an excuse

But no one wont's to know about anything over 50 mm where can the people go who have a left between 50 and 150mm what don't I understand am i reading it wrong

So for 50mm you're inherently certified (in most states), however, you'll need an engineering certification for anything over 50mm. You'll need to check with your states authority as to who is a certified signatory for the approval of a suspension modification over 50mm.

Not sure what's confusing about that. Which part are you stuck with? Finding an approver?

The QLD rules are very simple.
50mm increase in tyre diameter.
50mm body lift with certification.
50mm suspension lift without certification.
75mm suspension lift with certification.
You can not certify a 75mm lift if you have ESC unless you either get a letter from Nissan stating that the lift won't effect the ESC system or get it tested in VIC for around 15K.
As for how to get it certified. Thats very simple too. TMR even have a list of approved people on their website (www.tmr.qld.gov.au)
Here's a company that some of my mates have gone through. Pretty good pricing and customer service.

In this town no approver will do over 50 mm they don't wont to help or advise on gater lifts I have rang and they don' t wont to no Thank you I will ring the mod plate people tomorrow.
