Looking into doing a td42 conversion into a series 4 patrol. Yet to buy the petrol because i dont know if i want a auto or manual.

How do td42s go with an auto behind them. Ill be building td to have roughly 180rwkw

They go very well but you'll need to build the auto to handle the torque and that's not cheap. The standard manual is fine.

They do go well! They will also take the shock load of many components in the running gear.

I have averaged 1-2 rear centers a year since the power upgrade
