Is this a simple way of indicating that the car is the hapless control of a crunt of a driver, so watch out (kids may or may not be included)? Today I saw another two examples of what really pisses me of with these signs hanging in the back windows of cars. The first was a female (natch) driving on a windy section of road and turning around in her seat and handing things to the kid in the back seat. The second was another female, basically all over the road while she did something in the front seat (probably texting). I swear that these signs make the drivers feel that they are now capable of doing anything on the road, because everyone will watch out for them while they pay no attention to their driving.

Cheers

Ray

"Can't you see the baby on board sign?" like it actually meant something or the display thereof gave the driver some legal right to be incompetent.
you should have said well get the ****in baby out of the drivers seat!

Didn't you guys get the memo? these signs aren't for the safety of the children on board. It's meant to warn other drivers and should actually read along the lines of "Baby on board, car likely contains driver incapable of paying attention to the road for longer than 2 minutes, driver may also brake unexpectedly, and when over taken will scream obscenities that shouldn't be mentioned around small children."
But it wouldn't fit on the little yellow diamond :bigthumb:

Where I live, women often mount a warning stickers on their cars showing a high heel shoe.

This is to warn men that a woman is driving so expect unpredictable behavior.

It is good to see women here take public safety seriously.

Everyone thats pisses me gets the air horn irrespective of dumb signs and stickers. Only wish I had one of those train air horns BWWWAAAAHHH!
YouTube - train horn scare prank ( funny as hell )

Pretty funny! It would be hard to not just blast it for the effect...

On topic, those signs aren't any more an indicator of the driving talent than the badge on the car, and seriously, if you don't have a 'scary driver radar' by now, do us all a favour and hand in your licence. And let's not forget that mums have a **** load of stuff to deal with that no-one else short of an air traffic controller could begin to comprehend. See a mum driving, give her some space, pretty simple? Or have we become the society of uncaring arsewipes that we all complain about?

Have a Bex and a good lie down, tomorrow will be a better day for you.

Just made my mother in law cry by telling her that there is no way in hell that we are putting the sign she bought in our car.

They are a crock of ****, if they don't get removed when the baby isn't there then they are a distraction for emergency services. Having said that i would think es would be looking for a child of they saw a seat.

The actual purpose of them is to inform emergency services when involved in a car accident and who to attend to first.

That may be the intent... but for that to be effective they would need to be removed when no baby is present. Since they are left on then they don't serve that purpose and as such are just there for **** factor

I always thought they were there to change the driving style of the following car, as if that is ever going to happen, I reckon they are a crock also, mean and stand for absolutely nothing.

A bit like those odd family stickers you see on back windows.
