I would just like to tell the story of my first time using Fourbys Moorooka.
I have recently just installed adjustable upper & lower control arms in my GQ.
I was after a place that specialised in 4WD suspension/wheel alighnment so I did some seraches and discovered Fourbys at Moorooka. I thought I would travel another 1/2 hour to get some specialist service.
When I first called them up to discuss the matter, the guy on the phone was more interested in confirming a time and felt like he just wanted me off the phone. All I was chasing was about 2 mintes of his time to explain my corncerns.
Anyways, he booked it in for 8am, so I turned up 5 minutes early. I was told to wait around, which I was doing. I had a wonder through their store a coffee in the lounge, and waited and waited and waited.
At 9:20 I asked the gentlemen at the counter when my 4wd was due in, he said five minutes. At 9:45 my car went in the workshop, at about 10:10 I had one of the shop guys come in and tell me abit about what they found, which I really appreciated, he said not long to go. At 10:45 I walk ed back out to the counter where the guy said my 4wd was finished, so I waited for him to get my keys/bill/report. I paid the $75 and he tried to send me on my way. I asked for the report which I always analyse for my own record.
He then said sorry and went back out, only to come strait back in and tell my the printer had died. So he offered to email the report to me. I have him my email and left none to happy.
Come Monday night, no email, still no email, I emailed them through their website which they have declined to respond to.
I just called them up and wasnt alowed to speak to the manager so another guy fielded the call. I told him of my service and he didn't really care and then proceeded to tell my that he will see the guy who did it and get him to email me. I then asked how he was going to do that, seeing as I had not told him my name, car ID, email address or phone number.
I know people who will read this may have their own business and probably say Stiff Sh*T to me but in this day and age where it is getting harder to find spare $$$ to get work done, would you treat your customers like this?
