Hi all

I did a quick search without success.

For a reason I cannot explain, my drivers side rear barn door window shattered the other day driving from home to the bottleshop. The only thing holding it together would be the tinting.

Does anyone know what you would pay for one of these and where I could get one from?

Cheers

Wreckers'll have them. i'd expect to pay $50 odd... but don't quote me on the price!

Mine broke from a rock in the NT. A quote to supply from 2 Nissan dealerships I visited in QLD on the way home was around $900. Windscreens Obrien came to my place and fitted it for a poofteenth under $600.

Metric would be right.

The barn doors have the most expensive glass on the entire car sadly.

A mate broke one on a cape york trip in 2005- when we got home, a panel beater mate got a 'cheapie' job done through his window/glass supplier, was $450 for the rh door glass.
At the time wreckers wanted around $350+ for second hand. If you could find one.

So i'd think a price of around $600 new now would be quite 'reasonable' .

Thanks all.

I managed to get one shipped up from Melbourne through Brookvale spares (based in Smithfield).

Total cost $247.00 including overnight freight.

Now to remove the old one and install the new.

Cheers
