Good hard earned win from JW & CL.
Great to see talent shining through. On a track where the ford teams can't rely on their aero advantage the cars with better drivers and race setup shone through.
CL is pretty bloody good for a semi retired part time driver.(massive understatement) I'd say that pretty well all of the primary drivers would be happy as a pig in mud to have him as a co driver.

I don't think any of the drivers like to see that happen to others. ;)

Absobloodylutely. Yes, well done to VG for stopping to assist, but he's still an all round peanut.
I thought Lowndsy had it at the start, strange, looked like he backed off, could be some form of tactic for conservation of fuel or some such thing.

What the hell are they doing with door locks, 1 at bathurst and 1 here. We used to drill the daylights out of everything on the car to get rid of weight, even door hinges and locks, but never had an issue like that.

OK, haven't been taking any notice of the races until bathurst, something crook in Tullabrook if it is a regular thing.

It's almost like Mostert won't be driving for them next year so he decided to wreck as many chassis as he can before he goes.

Seems as though still more fallout from the Bathurst debacle.

More fines issued and grid penalties.
As mentioned, if penalised at the actual race (Bathurst) with last on the grid for engine cheating, would the result at the end of the day changed. Not impossible to win from last, but damn hard.

I like SM calling the field 'toxic'.

Maybe if his team didn't cheat their feelings toward him might be different?
