Hey guy's hope everyone is having a good break .. Anyway is there any beach camping in northern Nsw like we can on Teewah or do you need to book into a caravan park. just can't seem to find anything about it and would like to go south for a change

Not too sure. Only some of the national parks i think? Yurigir and some of the others. But nothing like what you guys have up there.

Check out Lake Arragan and Sandon River. Top spots. There's a nice easy 4x4 track that runs out the back if you can find it. The local ranger will tell you where it is. Just treat it nice so they don't close it off. Last time some idiots caused damage and it was shut down for ages.

id agree with above statement, sandon river camping is great, the camp grounds abit small so if you want to make some noise ect ect Arragan camp spot is the go, bit more area to work with.. also up the back of brooms you can dissapear in the bush for half day pretty easy, but make sure you take a map, its easy to get lost if ya dont know the area.

Jerusalum Creek between Evens Head and Iluka is OK. National park (no dogs) but camping just behind the first sand hill. When you find a place please tell us! We live here and go to North Stradbrok to have some "very rear" camping freedom!

Was about too say the same thing, I haven't been there in years and started fencing areas off when we were last there but it was always a great place. You may have more luck finding it under the name of station creek though, that's the 2wd camping ground in the same area.
