2.8 with a BB Garrett will crap all over the TD42, until I get philthy to make me a turbo manifold, GT30 and 13mm pump for the 4.2 :) then they might run side by side. pair of 5" stacks too for good measure

It was a 420km 2H HJ47 landcruiser ute at fagswich or a 91 CC ST Patrol 4.2 with 235kms in the next suburb with a roady, it wasnt a choice in the end.

bennoGU28, 2.8 has turbine, it accelarates better on high speed. Because of:
1. More power on higher rpm's (after 2000rpm)
2. lighter engine & gearbox
3. 4.6 differentials.

p.s. ..and when you rush hill with 2.8, then you'll feel leak of torque on lower rpm's.
on bigger tires result will be worse :D
