In need of new front discs for my '05 4.8. Had a mate price standard dba's through bursons with staff discount and they were almost $200 each. Just wondering if anyone knows where to get a cheaper new set?? Also whats everybodys favourite disc brand??

Hey mate I have used DBA, RDA, Protex and I'm sure some other brands I can't think of...and they are all fairly similiar these days. If you are going slotted or anything like that I would probably go DBA as I think they are probably the best quality.

i got the dba endurance series slotted discs for my 4.8. $310 for the pair from bursons, have done 5000 kms with them so far and found them to be excellent. big difference in pedal feel, and have much more bite than standard

DBA & RDA std and slotted are made in the same factory overseas. Only the very high end DBA's (eg "Gold Series" etc) are made here. The RDA vents are straight like std Nissan discs and the DBA vents are the kangaroo paw pattern. I've got DBA kanga paws non slotted on the rear and RDA slotted on the front. IMO the Bendix H/D titanium stripe disc pads made the most improvement.
