Looking between :

Bridgestone Dueler

Yokohama Geolander AT-S

Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT

Size 275/65R17

Mainly onroad with minimal offroad work

Any other tire brands you recommend?

Your thoughts on these 3 tire brands above?

Ive had the Geolandars on my Ranger for five years and love them. Handle well on and off road, still look good after about 60000 klms, quiet, great in the wet etc

Actually, I should have mentioned in my previous post that I have a few mates who speak highly of the Pirelli scorpions. They dont seem as aggressive as the Geos but if its mainly road driving with just a bit of 4wding they may be worth a look.

If the current Bridgestone Dueler is anything like their old Desert Dueler then it will be one of the scariest tyres on a wet road that you will find. They get great mileage though.

Cheers,

thanks guys.

Many tire dealers advised me that AT tires are needed to support this heavy vehicle instead of just on road tires.

is this correct?

The manufacturer's make road tyres for the patrol. Check out their websites..

AT tyres will be fine too, just look for one without an aggressive tread.

The pirelli scorpions. . I had them on an xtrail and they were good.
