Anyone out there know the N.S.W road rules for bike racks.

What I'm thinking of doing is putting bike rack on tow ball. I will be towing camper trailer also,. Or I'm thinking of putting bike rack on camper draw bar. I Don't know which way I'm gunna go yet.

What I want to know is if I put bike rack on car towbar will I still need extra bike rack number plate even if I'm towing a trailer?

Cheers. Troy.... pad

I normally go away with bike rack on towball and then camper on that again. I have been told it is illegal.
There is a tow hitch available with a second hitch point for mounting bike racks will see if I can google it up.

Ummmm yes! While shaking my head no.

I don't believe you need to. Plus I've lost the part of the rack that the number plate screws to.

Yeah I read somewhere also that you need to have an accessory number plate light too.
Maybe just easier to mount it on the draw bar..
