Hey all,

Trying to find the thread which had Bilstein part numbers to suit the Patrol (2" lift) and any extra info like whether the bumpstops needed extending.

Cannot find it for the life of me?? Found marruss' thread but thats it.

Any help would be appreciated..

Ah.

Here we go...

OEM style HD shocks (yellow + blue)
Front: B46-1477-HO 365mm compressed and 594mm extended.

Cannot get the 5100 series for the front end unless you convert lower shock mount to Eyelet style rather than pin.

Correct me if I am wrong please.

Don't know about the part number but that shock is toooo short for a 2" lift
You need something around 520mm up to 540mm extended
Cheers

Found more listings (for GU)

Front: BE5-6043
Rear: BE5-6044

Zordo, 594mm is larger than those figures you've suggested. Am confused :p

Another listing (for GQ)
F: B46-1266
R: B46-1267

Another listing for FRONT:

F: B46 2159 (same as B46 1266C)

Apparently you add a C to the end of the part number for a COMFORT shock.

Hi, I am about to buy some Bilstein 7100 series shocks for my gu wagon and was wondering what you blokes think about the following sizes/valve rates,

Front
AK7110SB06 10 inch travel 14.06" 357mm compressed length and 26.06" 662mm extended length, 360/80 valving.

Rear
AK7112SB05 12 inch travel 16.03" 407mm compressed length and 28.06" 713mm extended length, 275/78 valving.

I plan to use Lovells 2" lift springs and spring retainers initially with the possibility of a larger lift later.

Mike.
