OK gents, ive upgraded my intercooler to a HPD unit and am now looking at Scoop upgrades

i like the look of the Ra rodeo scoop but im not sure it will provide much better airflow to the cooler

what are peoples thoughts on them and what are my other options

Hpd also supply a scoop. It's made at a fibreglass place at Lonsdale.
Another option is to approach a fibreglass place and ask them to make one for you.

I'm considering this, but getting like 10 made and sell them off.

I keep getting 4wders on the street/tracks asking me where I got my scoop, even had a note left of the windscreen at the shops. It's just a customised Colorado scoop but if you're gonna get some made there is no doubt a market for something a bit more polished than the usual boxy ones going around.

Mate check out the "Bigmouth" scoops made by Barney on here. I just got one of the MkII ones and can't rate it highly enough. Work is second to none and improvement over standard it good.... catches a **** tin more air that's for sure.

Fairline fibreglass did mine. it is similar to the colorado one but taller and wider. $350 delivered to my door. only had to wait a couple of weeks as it needed to be made.

there are a few guys on here running them now. they look pretty good too

I can get a Colorado one for a good price, I just want to know if they actually get more air flow though them, as they seem to still sit low like the OME scoop

The airflow is fine. You still need a decent IC under it of course.

was it hard to fit the scoop ?
