2000 patrol 3ltr chipped and exhaust ran great for about 1000ks maf problems, installed new maf, first run in the mornings everything is great adjusting vnt to get just right. Turn off and then start back up after a while just to go into town to get whatever and cannot get boost over 10psi. Turn off back home check plugs etc. Start back up the next morning same thing happens all over again eg (start reading from the start again.:p:(
anyone have any ideas, I have vnt backed off to only get 14 - 15psi at max. Seems like maf/ecm resetting itself automatically over night.

The ECU on the early models was usually fairly forgiving (mines and Oct 2000 build), before things get too complicated just try disconnecting the battery for a few hours (or preferably overnight, to be sure) to reset, then run it again and see what happens.

Yes had that problem before but can`t figure out why it is good first start up and stays good until turn off engine then I can start back up straight away and then no good?????
