In 2 or 3 weeks I will be in the Netherlands with lots of space to bring back Patrol/Safari stuff to Canada. If anyone has any good ideas on where to get/order bits and pieces please post it up. I will be in the Rotterdam area.

Looking for:
cooling hoses
suspension coils etc.
Caliper overhaul kits
All kind stuff possible
Even a bolt up trailer hitch

Might even consider the bits out of a LHD for conversion.....

Cheers,
Paul

I guess you also need it tax free as it be for export.

Any Nissan dealer can get it same day or next day in Europe but you may need a photo of the parts and vin number. As with Nissan as you know they have to cross reference it and I have ordered parts from Europe and when it comes it totally the wrong part. Interior parts are the hardest more so if you have a middle east spec patrol as most of the interior is just for that area.

If you after RHD / LHD parts your best bet would be Trans Auto in Belgium. They export all Patrols around the world. They can get any Nissan Patrol part.

Hmmm, would someone price the rear window frames for a SWB and LWB in NL?

Tks Jelmer, TD42 spares not needed. I already have a spare TD42 and 5 speed. Now a turbo manifold would be good.

I would even consider buying a Patrol with a bad 2.8 if there was no rust.

Did the Patrols in NL get the 2 cup holder in front of the center console?

My dads '93 didn't have it. Most Patrols are very basic in Holland because they where commercial driven. Rear seats are very rare and I think 95% are diesels. My '84 has a gasoline engine and rear seat so this is a pretty unique Patrol in Holland.

You buy a 2.8 in UK for 3000 pounds (SWB or LWB) 2003 or 2002 models. Just google them there are thousands for sale.

Sweden is good place so is Austria aound the stable yards as they use them for pulling horse boxes. Spain is hard I often go there for work and there now a very rare find.

The Guardia use them but even they have crossed over to the Narvarda.
Pre 97 patrol parts must be Dubai. Thousand of parts in stock in Arabian Autos an there all tax free. I bud all my all my parts from them and never had a issue.

Another parts question, are there Nissan Atlas FD46 (24 volt) in NL? If I can get my hands on a few alternators from those I can upgrade my Safari alternator.

Any BOOSH dealer sell's them in Europe for the Patrol. You have two types 1 is the old version thats with out the pulley fan and from 2002 they fitted a pulley with a cooling fan.

I'm after a specific 24 volt alternator off a Nissan Atlas with a FD46, vacuum pump on the back. This is a 80 ish amp and a straight bolt up after changing pulley and pump. Stock Safari alternator is 35 amps at 24 ( 28 ) volts.

You can get the 80 amp from bosch but you have to tell them if its single or dual belt pulley or grove pulley required.

You can cross refrence it by tell bosh or any leading parts shop in Europe "Nissan Cabstar UD40 with VAC pump".

Weight (KG): 8
cross reference numbers:
23100-0T060
231000T060
A003TN5082
A3TN5082
ALT4205
ALT5120

Engine Type: NISSAN FD42 - NISSAN FD46

oilrig6, I am appreciating the help. Just a little more please. The part numbers you posted show up as 14 volt 35 amp alternators. How to get to the 80 amp alt?
