According to my tyres and the wheel aligner, I need 2 camber kits. I was quoted $480 for supply and fit and seeing as things are tight, I thought I'd have a go a fitting them myself. Is this job easy to do and is there anything to be gained by me doing it (as you need to do the wheel alignment at the same time)? Any advice would be appreciated. Deejay.

Bit more information would be helpful, like the type of tyre wear and the camber and toe-in readings.

To do a complete job would mean checking the bottom bearings as well, and setting up the preload etc. as per specs. which is a fairly major job.

To just remove and replace the top bearing with the offset type would be fairly simple, but i suspect it would be pretty easy to damage the axle seals if you can't keep the hub centred.

There must be a few who have done it, so hopefully someone will be able to give more info.
