My zd30 wont start and i dont believe it is the fuel pump i think it is the ecu shutting the fuel pump down but i want to make sure before i take it to mister nissan as if it is a fuel pump i will fix it myself . it has 2 codes spill valve and no communication with fuel pump just wondering if there was some way to test electrics on fuel pump or any other thoughts on my problem

G'day, I can't specifically help you but if you do a search on fault codes I'm are there will be some info that will help until one of the forums wise men reads your post. I'm sure you'll get something from here thats going to put you in a better position . Good luck!

I have a manual and in the manual it tells you how to test all the electrical systems in the engine side. Me personally I wouldn`t go to a nissan dealership as the guys on this site know more than what they do, you would be better going to someone who deals with fuel pumps and injectors as they now have the programs to test the fuel pumps in patrols. Talking to other people I have found out that there are only a couple of things that can go wrong with them and unfortunately they are not a cheap fix but if you are getting codes suggesting communication problem there might be a broken wire or dodgy plug on that harness, I would check that first, start with the easy stuff first.
