Hi, I'm new to this forum but from what I have read there are a lot of smart people out there.
We are currently stranded in Kempsey NSW. Our 2005 Patrol 3L diesel just stopped whilest traveling at 100kph. No warning lights, no missing, nothing, it just stopped.
RACQ towed to a nissan dealer over a week ago. Still no joy. They said the computer reads we have no motor!!!!
What to do ? Do we have to buy a new computer or is there another reason for this reading? The car will turn over but not start. The dealer removed our diesel power chip.
In defence of our Patrol, we have been travelling Aus with our off road coromal for over two years, been from the very southern tip of Tas to the tip of Cape York. The only problem we ever had with our patrol - was dirty fuel in Wa just changed the filter and lost 4 wheel nuts in Alice - (they have now had a recall for this problem). The Patrol has been brilliant until now.
