Gday guys,

just a question was there ever a 3person 3rd row seat made for the gq fleet,

I am wanting to make the mav a 8 seater as i want to cut down a rego or 2 and if i could make this a 8 seater means i could get rid of it. lol

No. There were bench front seats in the utes (I think also in some wagons); it may be possible to retro-fit one of those.

Of course, check with an engineer first -- no point doing mods you can't get registered!

As a side note, you can make the GU wagon an 8 seater be putting in a 3/4 seat from a GU ute after removing the passenger bucket.

Seat mounting holes/seatbelts exist already though. Expect a bit of rigour if new mounting points are required.
