i would have to say the tb42 turbo then the TD42T but i would still go the deisel.

Also tassie has overtaking lanes in there bottle shops like 6 lanes wide in some places. so there :D

It all depends on how well built the engines are, TB42 injected with a good turbo and intercooler setup and an engine built to handle the power will smoke pretty much any td42t it will be worse off road, but if all you want is pulling power.

There is obviously no clear answer. In the interests of scientific advancement, I think we need to set up a Top gear type comparison. Obviously we can't do it in Tasmania, they'd think we were on drugs. Overtaking lanes are definitely out - we don't have any of them out in western Queensland. However we do have heaps of huge road trains and lots of looongg straight hills. There may be some difficulty in working out who won but then who cares?
