Going through the shed last night and found the Pedders Castor correction bushes I got when I put a 2" lift in the shorty about a year ago. I got them out thinking that I have them so I may as well use them. But do I really need them? The shorty drives fine, no wobbles or vibrations, wheel alignment could be a little better (never did one after putting in the lift) but not anything major to worry about and it feels a little light in the front end when steering, but again, not really anything to worry about. So do i really need to spend the cash and get someone to install them? I am currently running 31's and when they run low I will replace with 33" MT's so should I just wait to see if I need them then, will larger tyres even affect this? If not I can throw the cash at some extractors instead!

Hey Branchy i ran for 5 years with a 2 inch lift and no correction mate, if you are happy with the handling then leave it alone mate. Wait and see what happens with the 33s but i cant imagine them making any difference at all.

If she steers in a straight line then leave it alone, without the caster correction you are likely to get a little over steer presenting as a bit twitchy in the steering and forever correcting. if this is not the case leave it alone.

In terms of timing for this fit if you do choose to then mate, the front radius arms need to be removed, will make NO DIFFERENCE at all about whether you do it with the new tyres or the old

Put em pack in the box till you really need them mate.
