Put the passenger side one in first, then get somebody to hold the steering wheel straight/centred as possible while you slot the drivers side bit into the steering linkage and whack the castellated nut on both and nip them up. Split pins in either side. Then bolt your steering damper to the new draglink.
I have bought a new adjustable draglink that i need to install.

My steering wheel is off centre by maybe 30 degrees and it pulls slightly to the left. I know that someone has taken off the steering wheel and rotated it before.

How can i be sure that the steering box is pointing straight? Apparently when facing straight the teeth essentially hold it there so it doesn't pull left or right.

I've looked at the steering box but there doesn't seem to be any marks as to where 'straight ahead' is. Any ideas?

I was going to get it roughly correct then take it to get a wheel alignment at the same time (i'm due for one anyhow)
