Hi All,
My name is Matt, I'm the new owner of the well renowned GUII TD42T Wagon previously owned by Jacket_1985.

This rig now calls Hervey Bay (QLD) home but will spend a vast majority of its time in Emerald (QLD) and in the surrounding coal fields where i work.
So the Modifications List is quite extensive and at this point I’m not even going to start trying to list them, but I’m sure most of them can be found in Jacket's project thread.
I will however get around to doing a list of all the modifications Jacket has done, The ones I've done and also the ones I intend on carrying out. Yes, I have already started modifying!
I'm very impressed with the vehicles performance so far. It was very comfortable to drive while bringing it the 2000+Km to its new home, very little body roll, literally no rear end walk, no vibrations when travelling at noise and better yet, no kidney bashing.
It has been taken on its first off road experience with me and considering it was on the 33" MickyT A/T's, it handled the "above sill height" "mud soup" extremely well. In fact, I ended out pulling a pathfinder and a 200series cruiser through the 2km+ mud run then reversed all the way back through it just to stick it to the cruiser fans, whom may i add could only tell me that no patrol compares to any cruiser. LOL
Problems so far: nothing major, snapped an injector supply line to the 6th cylinder when returning to work last weekend and am still waiting on a replacement one to rock up. Had a high pitched knocking noise in the engine when i purchased it, pulled the rocker cover off at work and reset the clearances on the tappets to resolve the issue.
Roadworthy: Let’s just say that within a couple of weeks the firewall will be a sea of blue plates and with the help of a couple of friends and their contacts the vehicle will be completely legal and roadworthy.
It's by no means a tidy truck, but it is definatly a very capable and soon to be well equipped one. I plan on doing my best to clean it up, restore some plastics, swap some interior parts with ST ones and fix up the headlights/grill which appears to be held together with zip ties.
Well that just about covers it for now, I'll be sure to take lots of pictures, measurements and notes of everything that i do to this rig and post it here as i'm sure there are many people interested in watching the continuation of this build/project.
