Ive come to the conclusion the ALOT of my smoky 2.8 problems is caused by the uni chip that was installed before I got the car. When I gave it to United Fuel Injection to try and find out why it was blowing alot of black smoke they discovered the chip when it was on the dyno and when unplugged it blow alot less smoke.

Now my question is how do I go about disconnecting it, do I simply unplug it and do I need to plug it back into something else??

Im not worried about the power loss as they dynoed it with and without it plugged in and there was very little difference.

Cheers

meh, well I guess it will be staying in! Its just that im in the process of selling it and I dont want the next potential buyer to think there is something wrong with it because of the smoke!
