I recently picked up some 12T jacks. They come with their own brackets but are held in place with huge hose clamps

The jacks weigh approx 9kg each

I'm trying to find a better way to secure them rather than the current hose clamp

I've had a look at pony oxygen tanks and fire extinguisher brackets, but the fire ex brackets are for large tanks, and the smaller brackets are only rated for 3kg.

the pony tanks are similar in rating

pics are of jacks and a 9kg fire ex bracket. jacks are approx 90mm dia.

any suggestions for different ways to secure but have a decent quick release?

There must be something in the range of strong toggle clamps in strap form, even if two lighter ones were used, you do have room. Haven't seen them for a while but have used them before in installations at factories.

Something compact like this that can be firmly attached to a plain metal band.

Do GQs have the same jack holder as the GUs?

Get an old transfer case chain and weld on those clamps geeyoutoo has pictured, maybe even make your own and put some stiff compression springs under the nut thats pictured.

I know what youre suggesting.

The GU uses the jack as its own clamp to hold it in place. This could be easily replicated.
so does the GQ
