Hi Guys, first of all great site, I've been on here for 3 days and already asked too many questions.... I have one more. I am purchasing as advertised... a 05 GU wagon. When i have gotten all the paper work sent through the current rego papers have it as a 2004 on the sticker. I have done a revs vin search and it comes up as a 2005 model...Is this false advertising on the sellers behalf or is there a 2005 date due to another reason???

It will be manufacture year 2004 and first registered in 2005

using some links i found on here and visiting nissan to cross check VIN and engine number it is a 05 manufactured in april and first registered in July...nissan were actually helpful!!

I had a Vin issue when I first purchased my Patrol, according to the vin check I did it came back as having a TB42 engine number but was a standard TD42.

Rang Nissan and quoted them my Vin number and they confirmed this so got it changed in the govt database to match the proper engine number
