On a 4.2 diesel block. where's the coolant drain?

Flushed the radiator, Replaced the top and bottom radiator hoses, then when I refilled it, she only took 5 liters. So I'm guessing I need to pull the thermostat and drain the block seperately?

You can just crawl underneath and remove it.

When it's time to bleed the system, you can do it the hard way or just remove the upper heater hose at the thermostat housing......

Thats the gay way and you will end up covered in coolant for your troubles.
Says he who wants to use 4 long extensions!!!! need a can of HTFU princess:p:D, but then you have the 2.8 eh prinny:p:p:p

Undo it when engine is warm, reomOve radiator cap first NOT WHEN HOT SYSTEM UNDER PRESSURE !!!!!!!!!!!
Can be done from top or bottom just be aware of temp and will gush out if system full

After working on engines that would weigh more than your house I believe in the saying "clydestales work for thier food, race horses get spoon fed the easy way".
