Hi,
I started to overhaul the front axle of my 99 Patrol - funny job 馃槄

My question is: in the german repair manual they say I have to use "normal", lithium grease for the birfield-join (cv)

Is this correct, or have I to use "moly-lithium cv-grease"?

Thank you,

Thomas

Lithium based Molybdeum Disulphide (LMM) is the correct grease to use on CV joints.

Ordinary lithium grease will run (oil comes out of grease) and you can end up with hard packed grease in your CV's that are not coating the impact areas.
