Tried to install the dawes and needle valve the other day, decided we were missing a few parts and a bit of knowledge, so decided to make our own device.

Let me know if anybody thinks any problems will occur later because of this "modification".

I'd say you ant gonna get any boost !

Does that tube go from the intercooler to the vac actuator ?

I can't see a Dawes valve ....or a joke

Paha, that turbo will go way better with boost pressure into it rather than vacuum!

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

The VNC turbo is vaccume opperated. This will not work.
Did you just drill a hole and sikaflex that hose on there.
You are going to have to buy a new hose because even it it worked. It would blow off straight away.
Do a search on Dawes valves here and look at the diagram that Chaz has done.

If this is not a pizztake, return it back to normal and ask for assistance from a forum member close by. I wouldn't be driving it like that.

Mk so i take it everybody disapproves.
I have now put the dawes and needle valve in properly and hooked it all up to what I believe is the correct position. Now all that is left to do is plumb the blue hose into the corner turbo piping piece and then I shall upload a better, hopefully more approved, photo of what i've got and hopefully i'll get some more positive feedback... :victory:

New photo's:

I'm not sure whether or not these two parts in the above photo (circled red) are supposed to be hooked up to anything/wtf they do?

I understand i'm a rookie but any helpful criticism would be good.
