Well as some are aware im banging away on an MK diesel ute
Hasnt turned under its own power for near 4 years
Shes all running now
Rebuilt IP,rebuilt oil cooler
Heaps and heaps of fiddly bloody stuff
1 week away from hitting the road
Took for a quick spin,and the friggin head gasket lets go
Water in the oil MMMM lovely

Now decision time
Do i do the head gasket replacement
OR
Rip the bugger out and drop in the tuff little SD33 Turbo sitting here ???

What do you guys reckon
New gasket or go the full monty

If anyones done the head gasket replacement ,what was the total costs ???

Motor starts fine ,runs fine,revs fine not a miss anywhere
But pull the dipstick out and water molecules the full length of dipstick
Ill fiddle with it for a while,failing that im swaying motor and box swap
Oh well ill have sometime to think,gotta build the man shed first

Shed yeah its about time i get on with it
(clean up the joint a bit to)
The only friggin grassed pad here is where the sheds goin
Stage 1
8m x 12m
Its all sitting here now waiting to go up
Then stage 2 (6m x 12m left side)
Then stage 3 (6m x 12m right side)
Hence why its called the man shed
(be able to fit some sh*t in there)
