Help please I need info on Dawes and Needle Valve. I have 2000 GU 3lt, have done all mods but cant find anyone who knows wat Im talking about.I have a over boost problem. I got H.D.S.to look at it ,after $900 they say fuel pump,then go C-N-J they find split in inter cooler, rebild and enother m.a.f senser other was cheap chinese one put in by H.D.S. another $1500.then tell me its the fuel only use B.P. Now the only thing I have not done is the Dewes, none of the above know that Im talking about.I know someone here can help.

TDi Dawes valves are available from 3bar Racing in the USA for US$45 delivered and Needle valve Kits from Dependable Distributors in Adelaide for $60.

When I bought my truck the previous owner paid a visit to Mike Vinne Turbo's down at redland bay.

It was hooked up with a 12" top mount intercooler thermo fan, blocked EGR, Drilled a hole in the dewes valve, 8.2ltr oil sump and a few other bits n bobs "Engine saver kit" is what it's referred to.

$1100 for whole shibbang which from many zd30 owners has gotten 300k+ out of there trucks. I've got 116 on my 2000 runs like a dream.
