did all the 2001 3ltr come out with 4.3 ratios. if not how could u tell what ratio they r by just looking at the centre

Count the teeth on the Ring gear & the pinion. Divide the gear by the pinion & that is the ratio.

I am uncertain if the teeth numbers are stamped on the gear and pinion as I have not looked at the Nissan Patrol gear set. But the principle above is correct in identifying the ratio.

are the front and rear centres the same size as well or is the rear the large one

Normally a H233 diff for front & rear. Unless the rear diff pumpkin is larger then its a H260 variant.

Yes there is. It applies from 2nd month 2000 till 9th month 2001



As for which variant, I am uncertain but believe it would be for the Ute and not the wagon.
