Hey mate, MQ 2.8TD, not a lot of info there, but that sounds to me like it is a Spanish made 260 Patrol?

It should say in the engine bay on the compliance plate.
From memory it's a 5.1:1 but I'm sure one of the European guys can put you on the right track ;-)

The 2.8 TD has a 4.6* ratio. The 2.8 N/A has a 5.14 ratio.

BTW, European Patrols don't have as much info on our compliance plate as the "general area" The factory manual tells this.

I own Patrol with RD28T with this ratio.

2Jelmer: In Monday I finally found front R&P. 8)))
So, soon it will be 5.14 R&P and 3.74 tranny. 8)

4.3 or 4.6. My Euro L28 4 speed came with 4.3 but the heavy duty's have 4.6.

The main problem determining diff ratios after 20 odd years,
Is wether or not the car would still have the factory diffs

If turbo260, then 4.625. If n/a260, then 5.14.
