Read your compliance plate, and as long as the crown wheel and pinion, or complete diff haven't been changed, then you will find where it says HGxx with either 39, 41 or 43 and that will be your ratio.

cheers my plate saids 39 which crap lol, but then i had another look underneath the front diff it saids 46.8.8 in a white marker?? so now im really confused lo,l i no a bit about mechanics but have never worked on a patrol before and im half way in between a engine swap, so need to no ratios as im going to run 33 or 35s cheers brett

if you really want to know, either mark the tailshaft and rotate the wheels and count how many tailshaft turns to wheel rotations, or pull out the diff and read what is written on the crownwheel.
