Is it possible to change all the parts and accessories over from a 2000ZD onto a 2005 ZD engine?
The only difference i can see is there is no plumbing into the front housing of the '05 engine for the '00 turbo water pipe.I am going to drill and thread into the same spot for the bolt.Does anyone anticipate any issues arising from this?Seems pretty straight forward...tho I expect the members will set me straight if im wrong

Not sure if you want it to be water cooled. The later models arent.

However there are others on here with more knowledge than me.

I know if you need a turbo, you fit the late model one with a kit to suit earlier models blocking of the water cooling.

Thanks for the heads up Jack, i think I'll thread on the pipe on tmr, then when funds permit I will go the turbo upgrade and block it off again.
