Hi all,
I regularly keep an eye out for patrols on carsales and keep coming up with ads similar to:

Code:
Well maintained and in excellent condition. Just over x km on odometer only.
This x Nissan Patrol ST has a powerful 4.2 litre engine. It comes with a roadworthy
certificate. Rego expires in 6 months. It has side steps and dual battery .
It is a non-smoker's car. It represents great value at $38,500.

FEATURES FIT FOR A TRADIE
This Nissan Patrol 2006 has central locking, map/reading lamps and air conditioning.
It has 2 speakers, front power windows, power steering, side steps, limited slip diff (LSD)
and tachometer. This car has a powerful 4.2 litre engine. Tray in VG order with it's
original wood decking
There are always heaps of 'it' and 'this' and they all 'represent great value' and all have 'a powerful engine'.

look at the first two (maybe more) here: CarSales to see what I mean - they could have been written by the same person!
This is not just for 4.2s, and not just utes, I have seen the same for wagons and CRDs as well.

Are they all dodgy?

It is just weirding me out.

Carsales automatically generates this type of text and suggests you use it when you place an ad.

May not be dodgy...
