I've had an intermittent problem with my 2008 ZD30 CRD where the 20A ECU fuse would blow out randomly when I'd be driving over bumps or out 4x4ing and I'd lose all power and have to change the fuse out for the car to start again.
Lately it's been happening as I accelerate from a stop on bitumen and an auto eleccy has told me that a short in my throttle body is the culprit behind the shorting ecu fuse and advised me to replace the throttle body. I'm currently travelling and have no time to get it replaced so I was thinking would it be okay to drive with it disconnected? I know they don't serve the same function on diesels as they do with petrols but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation?

I tried to turn off the damper, the gas pedal stopped working, but there are different blocks on the board, you need to try, maybe everything will work for you.
Also, when you turn off the damper, check the wires on the chip, maybe there are exposed wires
