This would be a nice size replacement for a patrol motor, not ridiculous in size and good figures.

Wonder what a crate motor and conversion kit would cost hmmmmm :S oneday.

Thats the motor they put on hold after the GFC hit them, there was a thread way back in 08 from memory where I posted similar.

That was the option I was going looking at (if they were available) if my 3ltr let go in 08 to current day, unfortunately not possible as I have already installed a new long motor.

However, they may appear to be reviving it?

personally I dont think they have a need for it.. when the GFC hit they **** canned lots of stuff that will never see light of day

Yes, agreed, but would'nt it be nice to have under the bonnet..........and not too cumbersome.

wasnt it a direct bolt in replacement for a small block chev?
meaning no new adapter plates or anything would need to be designed. would be a pretty mad setup standard and with a bit of tuning well hang on haha.
