Just received this email.

edit: sorry, has lost all its formatting.
The two candidates, what a difference.

Lets look at the difference between the two candidates and what a stark contrast between the two.

Lets also assume that if elected, Julia gets through her first term without being knifed by union hacks.

TONY ABBOTT JULIA GILLARD

Volunteer Firefighter No community volunteering ever
Volunteer Lifesaver No community volunteering ever
Volunteer Aboriginal community teacher No community volunteering ever
Economics degree No economics degree
Married Has affairs with married men
Ex journalist Ex Lawyer
3 children with home Mortgage No children no mortgage
Catholic faith Atheist
Successful Health Minister Education Minister for the BER rorting
Supported his PM Knifed her PM
His Government left 20 Billion surplus Her government left 90 Billion Debt
Has always belonged to the Liberal party Documented Links to the Communist party
Needs Liberal votes to win Needs Green preference to win
Rhodes scholar Fabian socialist society
Has not changed his standing “Real Julia" revealed compared to fake Julia
Stopped the boats Says " Another boat another policy failure" when in opposition but has no idea in government
Chosen opposition leader UN-elected PM

I think that sums it up. Why on Earth did Australia consider such a person for PM? It doesn't matter whether it's a man or woman.

The performance of Julia (as the gang of four), and as Prime Minister, has been (quite obviously), terrible. If you were one of those who voted for Labour at the last election, then you were responsible for her being promoted as PM. Not only that, you validated the Labour and union model of knifing your PM if the polls dive.

The NSW model is now at the federal level and if you need a glimpse into the future of Australia under Labour, look no further than NSW, which is the 'poster child' of bad government, ever in this country.

Labour needs to go back to opposition, so as to realise that Union hacks DO NOT deserve the power they presently wield. The Labour party need to rule for US (the people), not the party and power.

At the forthcoming election, it's your choice whether you give Tony Abbott a go. He appears a proven performer, not an amateur like Labour has been.

No more waste, no more mismanagement, no more Union hacks deciding on-behalf of our PM, and best of all, NO MORE BOATS. We just send them back to where they come from (except the Indonesian crew).

Bring back decency in government and end this 5 years of disasters. President Kevin Rudd (Dudd) is gone, but his policies are still here under Gillards watch.

The union hacks are still there, Howes, Shorten, Abib etc. And remember, a vote for the lunatic Greens will keeps these mongrels, goons, thugs, criminals and sponges in power.
I love these sort of emails. They used to infuriate me with rage at the person writing them but I taught myself to not be enraged at people's stupidity. OK, so I still get angry at people when they're stupid so what its a work in progress.

But anyway, I was going to reply back with:

Complete crap. Whoever wrote that should be muted and banned from ever commenting on politics again. They are less credible than that fat sack of **** Laurie Oaks and that mole Tracy Grimjaw.

1) Can't get Labor right. There is no U in Labor when referring to government parties.
2) Discusses voting for a person rather than policy/standings. Proves how petty, pathetic and uneducated this person is.
3) Misses that the ALP wouldn't have reached power at the last election if it wasn't for the Green and Independent swing - obviously highlighting that the ALP voters who were disgruntled and voted for the Greens/an independent are also mentally retarded in their ways, not dissimilar to the LNP supporter who has written this email.
But then I thought no I will write this a bit better.

Unbelievable. Whoever wrote this should not be commenting on politics going by their lack of skills in English (particularly spelling Labor with a U), text formatting and the mentality of voting for a person rather than a whole party's policy and standings or just highly publicized sensationalist topics delivered by the media. Is a shame as it could have been written and structured in such a way that it would have been quite credible!
I will update when the person who sent this to me replies. I think its a pretty good baiting.

No, I am not one of those to blame. I cannot honestly say that the majority of my views match with what the ALP stands for in this country.

What I do enjoy is starting massive ****fights about it. :)

I have to plead guilty as well tho... no matter whether you agree or disagree nothing better than taking the opposite stance when you get Emails like that and baiting the senders up BIG time.

Works great on here too just as a point of interest

Chosen opposition leader vs. Un-elected PM
This bit pretty much says it all about whoever wrote that letter.

It's an old one from well before last election, just after she politically assassinated Krud. Come on Yom, you can do better than that, what's holding you back.

Replying to the sender is useless, as they have just forwarded it as have the countless others that have seen it. the original author won't be changing their mind because of you retaliation. They will probably never see it.

The main thing I'd question about Mr Abbots qualifications and experience is his economics degree.
Ok his religion too.

I too have an economics degree and it's pseudo science at very best.

Julia, well I won't waste any pixels on her.

Cheers

I personally am not that concerned over formal qualifications of politicians but rather the depth and breadth of a poli's life experiance before they enter parliament.

I dont think in this day of machine politics we will ever see a locomotive engineer from bathurst ever become PM again or a Mr Menzies or Mr Curtin in parliament for a very long time.

Exactly, how many people just absent mindedly forward this type of crap on without even reading it themselves?

Wasting your time Yom.
I know I was wasting my time. I had some time to burn this afternoon.

The response was very boring I am afraid. Would have been far better around a dinner table.

I am surprised, in this day and age, that there are any people of voting age in ANY country who don't see the complete farce that is elections and political parties.

It still shocks me that there are people of low enough intelligence out there who swallow any of the political cool aide and believe in anything spoken by a politician.

Politics has NOTHING to do with governing a country, it is irrelevant, but worse than this, it has become THE VERY REASON for any and all public input into government; this, in effect, has allowed all governments to sidetrack the public and remove them from any participation in the running of their country.

I'm sorry, but anyone who really believes there is a single difference between a politician from one party and another is an idiot!

Anyone with even a modicum of intelligence simply ignores all government actions, does not enroll to vote, certainly doesn't participate in the voting process and, wherever possible, undermines the government in their own small way (by avoiding taxes and retaining as much of their own money as they can).

The truth is: You will NEVER win, You will NEVER have a voice.

It's just easier to learn this early, and just plain ignore the whole process...you'll be much happier and live longer.

Totally agree, that was the day of the "Stateman" rather than the politician, Whitlam (who I started off agreeing with but changed my mind) was the last of the Statesmen, but having said that, Menzies, or Pig Iron Bob as he became known, had quite a darkside which the press of the day did not pursue.

And there was the crimes act, which was originally well intentioned to keep the communists at bay, was found to have other clandestine uses.

can't win with US English vs UK/AUS English when it comes to spell checkers, particularly Google chrome or Gmail.
